  • I like to ask myself “why”. I encourage others to ask themselves “why”. To be honest, I didn’t start a blog to make money or to troll the internet. I started this blog to exercise my right to freedom of speech and share some of my personal interests. I do understand with that power comes responsibility, so I make it my business to speak on the current events. Lately, it’s like the government is only good for causing panic. Or maybe the world is just in that bad of a place right now. I don’t know. One thing I pay attention to is funding. Who gets pay tells you a lot about what they have going on; and vice versa. I’m not that deep into being political or politically correct, but I’m big on democracy. I believe that people do need a platform for equity and agreements. I believe in order. I also understand that just because something has order doesn’t mean it works or is good for you. Graveyards are very organized. Back to the matter at hand. I take personal responsibility to create a platform for those types of conversations and connections. In my opinion, the government and its structure is a big elephant in the room for the commonplace. I just think the past few years have discouraged citizens. So many catastrophic events on top of a governmental lapse. Now in July of 2025, it’s like we are regretting the decisions we made in the past years. This defunding of public broadcasting is just a sign; and I read it as, “the United Stated of America government doesn’t give a f*ck what you think”. I just think it’s time for the people of this country to find those spaces to communicate. Maybe it’s already happening, maybe not. In my opinion, these extreme events need to be responded to with radical changes. This isn’t a race thing for me. I think race is just a ball and chain for any intellectual conversation. It’s a back door and we all use it; but now what? I’m a black man, from Baltimore City, pursuing a career; and I’m seeing this happen to Americans. The deportation, the storming of government buildings because the president said to. I really would like to leave America behind, but I have loved ones I’m responsible for that are here. And I’m not a weak b*tch. So, I’ll be useful. We don’t need public radio to start conversations. Be polite and make a fuss!
